Dec 18: Quick Update Regarding Grim Exploit
BOMB Family:
TL;DR: BOMB protocol is safe and not effected by grim exploit.
There have been a lot of questions in the community about our involvement with grim finance and if funds within the BOMB protocol are safe.
Firstly, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to those effected by the recent grim exploit.
In terms of the BOMB protocol and safety of funds:
- All core BOMB protocol contracts are not effected.
- bomb.farm, our auto-compounding vaults, are also not effected.
Our auto-compound vaults were forked from Beefy.finance with zero modifications done.
Grim finance has modified aspects of some functions within the contracts, and it was one of these changes that introduced the vulnerability.
