Dec 20 Bombshell Monday Update
Dear BOMB Squad,
Wow. What a week it’s been since our last Bombshell Monday update. So much has happened since then and the Bomb community is growing stronger every day. We are still early in the evolution of the Bomb ecosystem and we will be tested from time to time but will grow more resilient with each test.
BOMB was created with the intent to be a project that offered sustainable long-term financial returns built from a community aiming to have fun and grow together. BOMB is family. The foundation upon which these goals are built include 2 critical components. The decision to launch on the BSC network offered maximum exposure to liquidity balanced with the lowest transaction costs. Secondly, choosing BOMB to be pegged to BTC was ideal and timely. The community has embraced these choices with resounding applause.
And with that, I’m super excited to announce the following…
BOMB is launching Bitcoin (BTC) single-asset staking, DIRECTLY on the BTC network. This will allow ANY BTC holder to stake their Bitcoin with BOMB and earn “defi/BOMB-like” yields; something that is not available to those holders today. This will open a portal to the largest crypto network in existence and will benefit everyone involved in the BOMB.
Many BTC holders are hesitant to explore other networks/chains but can now participate in the benefits of the BOMB protocol with ease. This influx of funds from the BTC mainnet will result in continued demand for BOMB thereby solidifying the stability of the BOMB peg; the backbone of the protocol.
Initially, we will limit this feature to 100 BTC. The staked BTC will be used within the BOMB auto-compound vaults and BTC stakers will be able to see the value of their position in a separate dashboard that will soon be finalized.
Over time, we will roll out improvements to the BTC network single-staking feature by allowing users to transition to a BOMB farm position on the BSC network if they desire. The dashboard will eventually offer this functionality. As for timing, we expect this to go live within the next week and I am hard at work trying to make this happen as you read this.
As many of you may have noticed, we have recently launched an initial marketing campaign on Google. This has shown very promising results so far. In addition to this, we have another, bigger budget campaign starting Wednesday, December 22nd. Hope everyone is ready for Telegram and Discord groups to blow up!
